What a 99 OVR Attempt Can Actually Control
A 99 OVR attempt is useful only when the visible choices and the unknown rating logic are kept separate.
What the interface exposes
You can record the role, mode, slot labels, players, selected traits, visible grades, intermediate OVR values, and final OVR. These are direct inputs or outputs from your run.
A complete run is not automatically a 99 OVR build
Our September 10 Guard Classic example filled all 10 slots and finished at 79 OVR. It included an A in Perimeter Defense, a C- in Passing and a C+ in Basketball IQ. The displayed OVR changed after each pick. This provides a real comparison record, but does not tell us the hidden weight of any one attribute.
Review all 10 picks and OVR changesWhat remains unknown
Hidden weights, player interactions, randomness, and version changes are not exposed as a complete formula. A confident-looking equation would be a guess unless the game publisher documents it.
Why slot coverage is not a guarantee
Filling all visible slots improves the quality of your record. It does not prove that every slot contributes equally or that the same grades will always produce the same OVR.
How to produce a useful verified attempt
- Record every pick in order.
- Capture the exact role and mode.
- Enter every visible grade and OVR change.
- Save the final OVR and observation date.
- Repeat before calling any pattern reliable.
